HOME SCHOOL WORKSHOPS

Conduct scientific, inquiry-based research in this three day workshop for 10 to13 year olds.  Home school groups must register between seven and ten students.  The workshops are three hours a day either three consecutive days or one day a week for three consecutive weeks.

Summit County Residents....................$45

Inside Out

Come to the zoo and discover the amazing adaptations of the animal world!  Become a biologist and learn how to make observations.  Compare the internal and external adaptations of a squid and octopus.  Learn some new games and meet some of our animals up close and study their remarkable features. 

 

Science of Scat

Become dung detectives and unlock the secrets of poop.  Discover how biologists use droppings to study animals in the wild, and here at the zoo.  Learn about the many ways that people use scat in their daily lives.
