The Akron Zoo is the place "Where Kids Love To Learn"!
It is time for our annual Educators Day. This day will be dedicated to showing you how you and your students can take advantage of all the educational opportunities we have to offer.
Date: October 4, 2008
Time: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Where: Activites will be taking place throughout the zoo, but the main location is the lower level of the Komodo Kingdom Education Center.
What: Live animal encounters, program presentations, guided tours, on-grounds and outreach program information, field trip information, special zoo talks, refreshments, prize drawing, and free train rides.
Regiatration: In order to attend the activities, you must register in advanced. You and three guest will be admitted free of charge. Regular admission rates apply for additional guests. For registrations please send an email to mjgirard@akronzoo.org with your name, organization, grade/subject you teach, number of guests you plan to bring, and zip code. Registrations must be received by September 26th.
